Honeywell S7800A Keyboard Display Module

Provides current status of burner sequence, timing information, hold information and lockout information, as well as selectable or preemptive messages.

The KDM provides local or remote annunciation of operation
and fault information, remote reset, report generation, burner
control data and diagnostic information. The KDM is part of
the 7800 SERIES of microprocessor-based burner controls for
gas, oil, coal or combination fuel single burner applications.
The 7800 SERIES is programmed to provide a level of safety,
functional capabilities and features beyond the capacity of
conventional controls.
The S7800A1001 KDM Series 5 offers the following technical
advancements to the 7800 SERIES devices:
. Compatible with installed Honeywell 7800 SERIES
systems.
. A three screen two-row by twenty-column readout set of
.Call Service. (Business Card) alpha/numeric directions
can be displayed instead of the standard lockout display
message. (Pass Code protected feature). This .business
card. can be cloned to other displays to save setup time.
. Enable ModBus Communication feature.
The Business Card (Call Service) can be made up using:
. Capital letters (A through Z).
. Lower case letters (a through z).
. Numbers (1 through 0).
. Symbols (!, @, #, $,%, etc.).
. Spanish symbols.
Programming can be done with the S7800 KDM mounted on a
7800 SERIES Relay Module or with a 13 Vdc power source
connected to the KDM through the 203541 5-wire connector.
Since your Business Card (Call Service) S7800A1001 will be
left at the job site, programming your personal three-number
password and personal lockout message can be set up ahead
of time without being connected to a 7800 SERIES device. A
clone function allows you to make multiple Business Cards
from the original display.

Honeywell S8610U3009 Universal Intermittent Pilot Control

Field service replacement for most Honeywell, Robertshaw, Johnson, and UTEC (HSC) Intermittent Pilot Ignition Modules. Provides electronic control of most intermittent pilot ignition systems used on gas-fired furnaces, boilers, and other heating appliances.

With the addition of field-selectable prepurge and ignition
trial timings, the S8610U offers universal replacement compatibility
for more than 300 Honeywell and competitive models. The
S8610U also now boasts an LED flame strength indicator and a
diagnostic LED that helps direct service efforts. Suitable for use
with vent dampers, the upgraded S8610U provides electronic control for nearly any intermittent
pilot ignition systems used on gas-fired furnaces, boilers and more. The Honeywell S8610U works
in single-rod and dual-rod applications and works with both natural and LP gas. In short, for new
installations or field replacement of nearly every Honeywell and competitive model, the S8610U is
the only intermittent pilot ignition control you need.

S8610U3009 Universal Intermittent Pilot Control

Features
• Provides ignition sequence, flame monitoring and safety shutoff for intermittent pilot central furnaces and heating appliances.
• Provides 100 percent pilot gas shutoff if pilot fails to light; after 6-minute delay, trial for ignition is repeated. Ignition trial/delay sequence is repeated until the appliance lights or call for heat is removed.
• For use with Natural or LP gas.
• For use in single rod or dual rod/remote sense applications. Includes relay contacts for use with any intermittent pilot gas control string with maximum 1.0A pilot or 2.0A main valve rating; Honeywell VR8204, VR8304 or VR8345M combination gas control recommended.
• Functional equivalent of S86, S8600, S8610 and S90 modules.
• Includes spark cable adapters to allow field replacement of both Honeywell and competitive controls without replacing existing spark cable.

Universal Compatibility
Stock it, grab it, install it. The S8610U offers such universal
compatibility that it’s the only intermittent pilot ignition control
you need to stock. It replaces more than 300 Honeywell and
competitive models, so whether you’re working on single-rod or
dual-rod applications, dealing with natural or LP gas appliances
or replacing a control from Honeywell or another brand, you can
reach for the S8610U and know you’ve got the situation handled.
Honeywell also helps speed up the field replacement process
by including spark cable adapters that allow replacement of
Honeywell and competitive controls without the need to replace
existing spark cables.

Honeywell C7061 Dynamic self-checking flame detector

Honeywell C7061 Dynamic self-checking flame detector used with R7861 Dynamic Self-check Amplifiers for sensing the ultraviolet radiation generated by the combustion of gas, oil, or other fuels.
APPLICATION
The C7061 is a dynamic self-checking flame detector for
sensing the ultraviolet radiation generated by the combustion
of gas, oil, or other fuels.
This flame detector is available in two versions:
model C7061A for use in Standard applications, and model
C7061F for use in installations requiring explosion-proof
packaging. The flame detector is designed for use with either,
R7061 Dynamic Self-Check Ultraviolet amplifier and
• R4348 Flame Switch or,
or with,
R7861A Dynamic Self-Check Ultraviolet amplifier and,
• 7800 SERIES Burner Programmers
These configurations provide a closed-loop, self-checking
circuit which insures the integrity of both amplifier and flame
detector. Improper response simulated flame loss results in
a safety shutdown and/or alarm.
DESCRIPTION
The C7061A1020 and C7061F1003 detector models are
identical except for housings.
Model C7061F detector is for use in installations requiring
explosion proof packaging. The housing is conform the EExd
IIC T6 classification. More details for the explosion proof
housing can be found in the chapter Standards and
Approvals.
The C7061F model has a 1-inch NPT tapping for mounting
onto a sight pipe.
The terminal block on both models is of wire clamp type with
removable screws and is situated in the compartment of the
C7061. The UV cell contains an ultraviolet sensing tube,
shutter assembly, terminal block and magnifying lens.
The UV sensor can be mounted from the programmer/flame
switch up to a length of 300 m.

FEATURES
• Oscillating shutter interrupts ultraviolet radiation reaching
the UV Sensor 12 times per minute (when used with R7861
amplifier in combination with 7800 SERIES) to provide the
UV Sensor tube checking function. When used with the
R7061 amplifier in combination with R4348 flame switch,
the shutter frequency is 60 times per minute. Amplifier
circuitry components are checked from the
microprocessor in the 7800 SERIES Control.
• Detectors can be mounted horizontally, vertically or at any
angle in between. The self-checking C7061 models require
faceplate alignment and have integral locating reference
points to assure proper operation of the shutter
mechanism.
• Ultraviolet radiation sensing tube and quartz viewing
window are field replaceable.
• Two flame detectors can be wired in parallel to reduce
nuisance shutdowns in difficult flame sighting applications.
• A swivel mount is available to facilitate flame sighting.
• -40°C (-40°F) rated ultraviolet sensing tube is available.
• lncorporates UV Sensor tube checking feature; used with
R7061 and R7861 Dynamic Self-Check amplifiers.
• High pressure 50 psi (345 kPa) quartz viewing window,
magnifying lens and antivibration mount are available as
accessories.
• Housing meets IP67 enclosure standards.
• C7061 F only: explosion-proof housing, meets EExd IIC
T6 classification.
• Protective heat block built into mounting flange.
