Fort Lauderdale, FL - Popular HVAC online retailer DtiCorp.com is introducing the brand new Honeywell LG1093AA36 gas turbine flame monitoring system. The Honeywell Flame Monitor System is designed to detect ultraviolet radiation emitted by a hydrocarbon flame. A system consists of two sensors, LG1093, and one amplifier EG1033. The amplifier drives the sensors and provides an output for flame detection.
This system has delivered proven performance on General Electric (and GE licensee) gas turbines for more than 35 years.

Each amplifier will power up to two sensors. The dimensions are 6.62 x 4.25 x 2.32 inches for the EG1033AA and 6.62 x 4.25 x 4.44 inches for the EG1033AB, AC and AD. The amplifiers are mounted through four .20 diameter holes 6.00 x 2.00 inches apart.

The sensors operate at 350 Vdc which is supplied by the amplifier. The sensors respond to ultraviolet light with a spectral range of 1850 to 2650 angstroms. The LG1093AA sensor has a 3/4 NPT internal thread provided for attachment to the burner and a one inch external conduit thread for attachment to electrical conduit. The sensors are equipped with an internal 511 ohm, 2 watt wire wound current limiting resistor.

The LG1093AB, AC sensor housing has a 1.73 inch O.D. by .14 inch wide flange to clamp the sensor to the burner. The LG1093AB has a two pin connector and the LG1093AC has a two conductor armored cable provided for connection to the control panel. These sensors are equipped with internal 511 ohm, 2 watt wire wound resistor in series with a diode for current limit and reverse polarity protection.

Two Honeywell Steam Humidifiers on a Temporary Shipping Hold



Honeywell has made the decision to put the Honeywell
HM612A1000
and HM609A1000
Steam Humidifiers on a temporary shipping hold.

At the end of 2014, Honeywell re-launched the Steam humidifiers
with a few major updates with the intent of improving the long term performance
of the products. These changes included improving the tank and gasket materials,
as well as including an RO kit to ensure the water quality is good. These
changes have solved the previous issues, but unfortunately have created a new
failure mechanism.

In less than 10% of cases, Honeywell identified an issue that results
in water leaking from either the tank gasket or at the bottom of the tank where
it attaches to the solenoid.

Honeywell is testing several fixes, including one that can be
done in the field without needing to replace the entire unit. Honeywell is
currently testing these fixes to ensure that is solving the problem, and will
not be shipping any additional products until they have this fix and have
reworked all of the inventory. Honeywell will provide communications as they
come closer to resolution on this issue.

Customers that have affected products can return them to Honeywell at
their discretion, and Honeywell's 5 year warranty will continue to be honored.
